I broke rules
Behind the wall of her hair.
It stood like a pomade
Monument.
And I was dwarfed in
Its shadow.

My shoes pinched my feet,
And made my veins bulge
Along their rim.

But they glistened when I moved,
So I wore them.

I wondered,
As I was little more than
A bean,
Whether she ducked
Upon entering a room,
The same way I limped
Upon leaving.

An hour and fifteen minutes of weather and climate class, sitting behind Aphrodite's taller, and more foolish cousin.

It is better to have loved and lost, than to have never lived at all
Isn't it amazing how much L'Amour sounds like La Morte.
